Miguel Ríos is the Road Safety Manager for EMBARQ Mexico. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the ITESO BC, where he took part in a study alternate routes to the closure of a main University access road. He also participated in a research project for PRT (Personal Rapid Transit) transport in the Metropolitan Zone of Guadalajara. He also holds a master's degree in engineering and land use form the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, where he focused on education and road safety. He previously worked on a research project for the social development of pilot communities in the Sierra Gorda Querétaro, which aimed to improve quality of life by expanding or implementing new transport routes to support ecotourism, historic preservation and pedestrian access to tourism activities.
